Savings on Your Next Chapter

Learn how you can save up to $130,000 with Ontario's temporary Enhanced New Housing Rebate (ENHR).

Enhanced Guide

Overview

To improve home affordability, the Ontario government, in partnership with the federal government, has temporarily expanded tax rebates on new home purchases.

Under the temporary Enhanced New Housing Rebate (ENHR) program, the full 13% Harmonized Sales Tax (HST) is removed for eligible buyers of qualifying new homes valued up to $1 million. This results in a maximum tax savings of up to $130,000.

Because all currently available home designs at Hilan Village are priced under $1 million, eligible buyers in our community can take full advantage of this maximum provincial tax relief.

How the Rebate Works

  • The Savings: A rebate of the full 13% HST on qualifying new homes valued up to $1,000,000.

  • The Requirement: The purchaser must acquire the new home for use as their primary place of residence.

  • The Deadline: The purchase agreement with the builder must be signed between April 1, 2026, and March 31, 2027.
